New to the Studio
For those new to Pilates, we've made it easy for you to become familiar with the Pilates method, our equipment, and to learn modifications suitable to your needs.
We have two pathways for beginners:

We recommend joining us for a full session (two months of classes) to get a good understanding of the basics before progressing to higher levels. Price - $28 + tax / class
- Welcome Package - our welcome package consists of 3 private Pilates sessions where you will have the opportunity to learn in a 1:1 setting with one of our highly trained instructors. Price - $210 + tax / 3 sessions

Pilates can benefit everyone and can be tailored to every body! Whether you are 20 or 80, an athlete or new to exercise, everyone is welcome. Pilates is a low impact workout that links breath to movement for a mindful practice that strengthens muscles, corrects alignment and relaxes the mind. If you have concerns regarding an injury, we recommend working 1:1 with one of our trained instructors to develop a plan that is suited to your needs.
We love to welcome experienced Pilates clients at our studio! If you've been practising for a while, give our team a call at 250-598-9828 ext 2 to discuss the best class level for you. Every method of Pilates is slightly different. We do offer a one hour private session with one of our instructors at a discounted rate for new clients. In this session they can introduce you to our equipment and determine which level of group classes would be the best fit for you. Price - $70 + tax / 1 hour session.
Yes, we have a parking lot onsite with free parking. Should this be full when you arrive, there is also free parking across the street at Hillside Mall.
Small Group Pilates Classes
Our group classes range from Foundations (beginner) to level 3 (advanced). Our equipment classes utilise Pilates apparatus, the reformer and stability chair, that increase resistance through the use of springs. We also offer mat pilates and a variety of speciality classes including seniors, stretch, sculpt and scoliosis classes. For more information visit our class description page here.
If you are new to Pilates, we offer two pathways to get started which is described in more detail here. If you have experience doing pilates please give us a call at 250-598-9828 ext 2 to discuss the best class options for your level.
The reformer is a piece of Pilates equipment that includes a sliding bed, pulleys and springs. The springs allow for the addition of tension to increase resistance and challenge. The reformer also provides support for entering certain movements that would otherwise be difficult on the mat alone. This provides the opportunity for effective exercise and strength building that is low impact and safe for the joints.
Private Pilates Sessions
Private Pilates sessions offer many benefits. Working 1:1 with an instructor allows you to focus on your individual needs and goals. These can include but are not limited to:
- general strength
- sports performance
- pelvic floor function
- core activation and strength
- postural alignment
- flexibility and mobility
- pain management
- injury prevention
- recovery from injury or surgery
Our trained instructors will meet you where you are at, and can adjust the exercises to safely and effectively address your concerns.
Clinical pilates combines the principles of traditional pilates with a scientific research based approach to exercise and injury rehabilitation. These sessions are 1:1 and are integrated as part of an overall treatment plan that is overseen and monitored by one of our Registered Physiotherapists. An initial assessment with a Physiotherapist is required in order to determine if clinical Pilates will be appropriate for your concerns. These sessions may be covered by your extended health benefits or ICBC claim. You can learn more about Clinical Pilates here.
Private Pilates sessions can address similar concerns but can be booked without recommendation from a Physiotherapist. These sessions are not covered under extended health benefits.
Clinical Pilates sessions that are recommended by a Physiotherapist as part of your overall treatment plan may be covered under your extended health benefits or ICBC claim. Contact your insurance provider to see if they cover Clinical Pilates overseen by a Physiotherapist. Private Pilates that is not overseen by a Physiotherapist is not typically covered.

Small class sizes: We have a maximum of 6 participants per class. This not only allows for more participant attention from instructors but also to prevent the spread of germs in large crowds.
Sanitization: We require all participants to spray and wipe their equipment after use. Our Studio uses only the best recommended and environmentally friendly sanitizing agent.
Masks: Our studio is technically a part of Vancouver Island Health Authority as we have multiple practitioners from all disciplines. We require masks until you are at your own reformer, then you may take it off for the class.
